The Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is much better than Motorola One's 74.3 global score. Both of these devices have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system). Although Galaxy A8 Star and the Motorola One were released only 2 months apart, the Galaxy A8 Star body is somewhat heavier but a little bit thinner than the Motorola One.
The Galaxy A8 Star features a little bit better screen than Motorola One, because it has a quite larger screen, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels and more pixels per inch of display. The Galaxy A8 Star counts with just a little better hardware performance than Motorola One, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Motorola One, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy A8 Star counts with longer battery duration than Motorola One, because it has a 3700mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star takes clearer photographs and videos than Motorola One, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a bigger diafragm aperture and a more megapixels camera in the back.
