The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is a little bit better than the Motorola XT5, having a overall score of 44 against 40.3. Both devices in this review use the same Android 2.1 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding operating system features. Sony Ericsson Xperia X8's construction is extremely lighter but thicker than Motorola XT5.

The Motorola XT5 features a little more vivid display than Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, because although it has a quite lower pixels quantity in each inch of display, and they both have exactly the same 480 x 320 resolution, the Motorola XT5 also counts with a little bit larger display. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Motorola XT5, although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 16 GB against 32 GB.
