Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a bit better than the Nokia 7.2, getting an 82.1 score against 75.9. These phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Nokia 7.2 has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star construction is a bit thinner than the Nokia 7.2, but it's just a little bit heavier and was released just a bit over a year before.
Nokia 7.2 counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Nokia 7.2 also has a bit higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a just a bit greater pixel amount in each inch of screen. The Galaxy A8 Star's processor is just as good as the Nokia 7.2 one, both have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Nokia 7.2 has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy A8 Star shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Nokia 7.2, because although it has a way tinier camera sensor giving a way lower image quality and a much less megapixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photos and a much better 3840x2160 video quality.
The Galaxy A8 Star has just a bit longer battery performance than Nokia 7.2, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.
