Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 lite is slightly better than Nokia 8.1, with a overall score of 76.2 against 72.1. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 20 lite has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Nokia 8.1 has Android 10 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 lite and the Nokia 8.1 were released with only a couple of months difference, the Huawei Mate 20 lite is just a little thinner and a little bit lighter.
Huawei Mate 20 lite has a screen that is very similar to the Nokia 8.1 one, although the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a little higher pixel density and a bit larger display. Huawei Mate 20 lite features just a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Nokia 8.1, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Nokia 8.1 and Huawei Mate 20 lite both feature really similar CPUs, they have the same RAM amount and 8 cores. Huawei Mate 20 lite has a camera that's very similar to the Nokia 8.1 one, and although the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a camera with much more megapixels and better video frame rate, they both have the same video quality and a F1.8 camera aperture.
Huawei Mate 20 lite features just a bit better battery duration than Nokia 8.1, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity.
