Moto G9 Play is a bit better than Nokia 8.1, getting a global score of 76.7 against 72.1. Both phones we compare here come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system). Although the Moto G9 Play is newer than the Nokia 8.1, it's somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier. The Nokia 8.1 has a little bit better performance than Moto G9 Play. Both have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.

The Nokia 8.1 features a sharper display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1080 x 2280px resolution and a way higher pixels quantity per display inch. The Moto G9 Play takes much better pictures and videos than Nokia 8.1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Moto G9 Play also has a way bigger sensor providing a way better image quality, a larger camera aperture to capture better low light captures and videos, a lot better resolution back camera and faster video frame rates.

Motorola Moto G9 Play features a bit bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Nokia 8.1, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Moto G9 Play counts with a way better battery duration than Nokia 8.1, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
