Comparison review
The Nokia 7.2 is a little bit better than Nokia 8.1, with a score of 75.9 against 72.1. Nokia 7.2's construction weights the same than Nokia 8.1, but it is a little thicker. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding OS features.
The Nokia 7.2 features a bit better hardware performance than Nokia 8.1, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Nokia 7.2 also has 2 GB more RAM. Nokia 7.2 has a display that's very similar to the screen in Nokia 8.1, although the Nokia 7.2 also has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a little larger display and a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Nokia 7.2 features a bit better camera than Nokia 8.1, and although they both have the same aperture, the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Nokia 7.2 also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Nokia 7.2 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Nokia 8.1, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 7.2 feature quite similar batteries duration.
