Samsung Galaxy J8 is just a bit better than the Nokia 8.1, with a global score of 76.7 against 72.1. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 operating system. Samsung Galaxy J8's construction is just a bit lighter but just a bit thicker than Nokia 8.1, and they were released with only 6 months difference.

Nokia 8.1 counts with a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a better pixels quantity in each inch in the display, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a bit larger screen. The Nokia 8.1 has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM amount.

Nokia 8.1 has a little bit more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Nokia 8.1 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
