Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is slightly better than Nokia 8.1, having a 77.7 score against 72.1. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite construction is a little lighter and just a bit thinner than the Nokia 8.1. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Nokia 8.1, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing images and/or video in low-light situations, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a camera with a 12 mega-pixels resolution, the same video frame rate and the same back-facing camera sensor size.
The Nokia 8.1 features a little longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 4 percent greater battery size.
