Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ1 is slightly better than the Nokia 8, having a 78.3 score against 73.8. Even though the Sony Xperia XZ1 and Nokia 8 were only released 1 months apart, the Sony Xperia XZ1 is just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter. Nokia 8 has a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a little bit larger screen, a greater pixel number in each display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Nokia 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia XZ1's processing unit is just as good as Nokia 8's processing unit, both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Nokia 8 features just a little better battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3090mAh battery capacity instead of 2700mAh. Sony Xperia XZ1 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Nokia 8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a F2 diafragm aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a back camera with a much higher 19 MP resolution and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a lot higher image and video quality.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Nokia 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Nokia 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia XZ1, else you can save some money and buy the Nokia 8, resigning some features and specs.
