The iPhone XS Max is much better than the Nokia 9 PureView, with an 84.5 score against 76.4. The iPhone XS Max body is somewhat heavier but just a little thinner than Nokia 9 PureView, and both were released with only a few months difference. Apple iPhone XS Max counts with a bit sharper display than Nokia 9 PureView, because although it has a just a little inferior pixels number in each display inch and a bit lower 1242 x 2688 resolution, it also counts with a quite bigger display.
IPhone XS Max has a bit superior CPU than Nokia 9 PureView, because although it has a lower number of slower cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processor. IPhone XS Max shoots clearer photographs and videos than Nokia 9 PureView, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a same size aperture and a camera in the back with a 12 MP, the iPhone XS Max also has a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and pictures and higher 60 fps video frame rates.
Nokia 9 PureView features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Apple iPhone XS Max, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Nokia 9 PureView has just a little better battery duration than iPhone XS Max, because it has a 4% bigger battery size.
IPhone XS Max is a lot more expensive than the Nokia 9 PureView, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
