Google Nexus 5 has a little more vivid display than Nokia 9 PureView, although it has a just a little worse screen density, a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display. Nokia 9 PureView has a way bigger storage for apps and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has 96 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Nokia 9 PureView features a much longer battery duration than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 3320mAh battery size. The Nokia 9 PureView shoots much clearer videos and photos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a lot more mega pixels back camera, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a larger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality and a lot bigger aperture.
Although Nokia 9 PureView is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Nexus 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 5. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Google Nexus 5, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
