Sony Xperia XZ2 has a global score of 79.1, which is slightly better than the Nokia 9 PureView's global score of 76.4. Although it's the best in this review, the Sony Xperia XZ2 construction is older, somewhat heavier and a lot thicker than Nokia 9 PureView. Nokia 9 PureView has just a bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Nokia 9 PureView also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 and Nokia 9 PureView both feature very similar displays, although the Xperia XZ2 has a quite smaller display, a quite lower pixel density and a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px. The Xperia XZ2 has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Nokia 9 PureView, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.
Nokia 9 PureView has just a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2, because it has 3320mAh of battery capacity against 3180mAh. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a superior camera than Nokia 9 PureView, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with a lot more megapixels back camera, better 60 fps video frame rate and a bigger sensor taking higher quality photographs and videos.
