Moto G has a score of 60.3, which is much better than the Lumia 520's global score of 54.3. Even being the best phone we are comparing, we must highlight that it is also a somewhat heavier and thicker phone. The Moto G counts with Android 5.0 operating system, and Lumia 520 works with Windows Phone 8.1, 8 operating system.
The Moto G features just a bit better looking screen than Lumia 520, because it has a little bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a higher pixel number in each inch in the screen. Motorola Moto G features a bit better processing unit than Lumia 520, and although they both have a 450 MHz graphics processing unit, the Motorola Moto G also has more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM.
The Nokia Lumia 520 features a little bit better camera than Moto G. Both have the same (HD) video resolution, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back facing camera. Lumia 520 counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Moto G, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory, the Lumia 520 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 64 GB.
The Moto G counts with a way better battery lifetime than Lumia 520, because it has a 45 percent bigger battery size.
Moto G is a bit more expensive than Lumia 520, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
