The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a general score of 78.2, which is way better than Lumia 800's score of 53.8. Samsung Galaxy S5's construction is a lot newer and thinner, but also just a bit heavier than the Lumia 800. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 5.0 OS, while Lumia 800 comes with Windows Phone 7.8, 7.5 Mango OS.

Galaxy S5 features a much greater hardware performance than Lumia 800, because it has an extra GPU, a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy S5 counts with a lot better looking screen than Nokia Lumia 800, because it has a way better 2560 x 1440 resolution, way more pixels per screen inch and a way larger screen.

The Galaxy S5 features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Lumia 800, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S5 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a very superior battery lifetime than Nokia Lumia 800, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity against 1450mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 shoots much better photos and videos than Lumia 800, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution and a way better (4K) video quality.

The Galaxy S5 costs a bit more than Nokia Lumia 800, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
