Comparison review
Xperia 5 is slightly better than nubia Red Magic 3, getting a global score of 81 against 75.6. The Xperia 5 body is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than the nubia Red Magic 3, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference. The nubia Red Magic 3 features a little better performance than Xperia 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the nubia Red Magic 3 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia 5 features a little more vivid display than nubia Red Magic 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher pixel count in each display inch and a bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution. Xperia 5 features a slightly better memory for applications and games than nubia Red Magic 3, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The nubia Red Magic 3 captures much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way larger sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality, a back facing camera with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution and a much better 7680x4320 video quality.
Nubia Red Magic 3 features a much longer battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Xperia 5 costs a lot more money than nubia Red Magic 3, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
