Comparison review
Motorola Edge 50 is just a bit better than nubia Red Magic 5G, with a overall score of 81.2 against 75.7. Motorola Edge 50 is a noticeably newer device, and it's also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than nubia Red Magic 5G. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but Motorola Edge 50 has a newer 14 version while nubia Red Magic 5G has Android 10, offering some extra features and some performance improvements.
Motorola Edge 50 has a sharper screen than nubia Red Magic 5G, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a little better pixels count in each inch in the display, way more brightness and a little higher resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels. Motorola Edge 50 has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than nubia Red Magic 5G, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The nubia Red Magic 5G counts with a way better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50. Both have 8 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor. The nubia Red Magic 5G captures a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has a smaller sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same video quality and the same aperture, the nubia Red Magic 5G also counts with a camera in the back with a much better 64 megapixels resolution and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Motorola Edge 50 has a bit superior battery duration than nubia Red Magic 5G, because it has an 11 percent greater battery capacity.
