Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 is slightly better than the nubia Red Magic 5S, getting an 81 score against 76.2. The Sony Xperia 5 is an older cellphone than nubia Red Magic 5S, but Sony was able to make it somewhat thinner and much lighter. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a processing unit that is very similar to the CPU in nubia Red Magic 5S, and although the Sony Xperia 5 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
The nubia Red Magic 5S features just a bit better display than Xperia 5, because although it has a little lower display density and a quite lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a little larger display. Xperia 5 has a much greater storage for apps and games than nubia Red Magic 5S, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The nubia Red Magic 5S captures a lot better photos and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking images or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way better 7680x4320 video quality, a much more megapixels back camera and a way larger sensor shooting way better quality photos and videos.
The nubia Red Magic 5S has a very superior battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3140mAh.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than nubia Red Magic 5S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the nubia Red Magic 5S. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, else you can save a couple dollars and get the nubia Red Magic 5S, giving up a couple specifications.
