Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 is better than the OnePlus 12R, getting a global score of 79.1 against 71.9. Xperia XZ2 counts with a much more powerful CPU than OnePlus 12R, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. OnePlus 12R features a much better looking screen than Xperia XZ2, because it has a larger display, a higher 1264 x 2780 resolution, a just a bit higher screen pixels density and a really brighter display.
Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a little bit better camera than OnePlus 12R, although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a much worse 19 mega-pixels resolution camera.
