Comparison review
Apple iPhone 8 is better than OnePlus 6, with an 85 score against 73.3. The Apple iPhone 8 construction is just a bit thinner and lighter than the OnePlus 6, even when both were only released 8 months apart. The iPhone 8 has a little better performance than OnePlus 6, because although it has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a little bit better looking display than OnePlus 6, although it has a just a little lower pixel amount in each inch in the display, a way worse 750 x 1334 pixels resolution and a much smaller display. IPhone 8 has as much storage capacity to store more games and applications as OnePlus 6, both have equal internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 6 features a much longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has an 81 percent larger battery size. The OnePlus 6 features a little bit better camera than iPhone 8, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 6 also has a back facing camera with much more mega pixels, a bigger aperture to capture better photography in low light environments and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy iPhone 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 6, giving up some features and specs.
