Comparison review

OnePlus 8 is slightly better than OnePlus 6, getting a 76 score against 73.3. OnePlus 8's construction has the same thickness than the OnePlus 6, but it's just a little bit heavier. OnePlus 8 features a sharper screen than OnePlus 6, because it has a bit better pixel density, a quite bigger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

OnePlus 8's processor is just as good as OnePlus 6's processing unit, both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. The OnePlus 6 counts with a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than OnePlus 8, because it has more internal storage. The OnePlus 8 counts with greater battery performance than OnePlus 6, because it has a 30% more battery capacity.

The OnePlus 8 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than OnePlus 6, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 60 fps video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a way more MP back-facing camera and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality.

Although OnePlus 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 6. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the OnePlus 8, otherwise you can save some money and get the OnePlus 6, giving up a couple specifications.
