Even though Galaxy A8 Star and the OnePlus 6T were only released with a couple of months difference, the Galaxy A8 Star construction is just a little bit heavier but just a bit thinner. OnePlus 6T has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a quite bigger screen, a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
OnePlus 6T features a quite bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 6T features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 6T also has more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a battery life that's very similar to OnePlus 6T's battery lifetime. OnePlus 6T counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same aperture, the same video resolution and the same resolution back-facing camera, the OnePlus 6T also has a bigger back camera sensor and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
