Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star is a bit better than the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, having a global score of 82.1 against 79.8. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has Android 10 version, so it gives you a lot of extra features and performance tweaks. The Galaxy A8 Star is an older phone than OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, but it is just a little lighter and somewhat thinner anyway.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has a higher amount of RAM. The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a greater pixels amount in each display inch, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a quite bigger screen.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G also has better 60 frames per second video frame rate, a bigger diafragm aperture, a lot bigger sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality and a camera in the back with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G features a better memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has an 8 percent larger battery capacity.
