Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is much better than the OnePlus 7 Pro's global score of 72.3. Even though Samsung Galaxy A8 Star and OnePlus 7 Pro were only released 9 months apart, Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner. OnePlus 7 Pro has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a little bigger display, a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a greater pixels density.
The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a greater memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 7 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 400 GB. OnePlus 7 Pro features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory.
OnePlus 7 Pro features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same video definition, the OnePlus 7 Pro also has a way more megapixels back facing camera, a way larger sensor, a bigger aperture and faster 60 fps video frame rates. OnePlus 7 Pro features just a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has an 8 percent larger battery size.
