Comparison review
The Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is much better than OnePlus 7 Pro's overall score of 72.3. Xperia 5's construction is a little thinner and a lot lighter than the OnePlus 7 Pro, even though both were released only a couple of months apart. The OnePlus 7 Pro features a bit sharper display than Xperia 5, because it has a quite larger display, a quite higher screen density and a higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution.
The Xperia 5 features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus 7 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xperia 5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia 5's processing unit is just as good as OnePlus 7 Pro's processing unit, both of them have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cores.
The OnePlus 7 Pro has longer battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 7 Pro features a way better camera than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have the same video definition and the same diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 7 Pro also has a lot larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, better video frame rates and a way better resolution camera.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than OnePlus 7 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 7 Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 7 Pro, resigning a couple specs and features.
