Comparison review
The iPhone XS Max has a score of 84.5, which is much better than OnePlus 7's score of 71.6. The iPhone XS Max design is somewhat heavier but a little bit thinner than OnePlus 7, and both were only released 8 months apart. Apple iPhone XS Max counts with a bit sharper screen than OnePlus 7, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1242 x 2688px, a little larger screen and a bit better pixel amount per inch of screen.
The Apple iPhone XS Max counts with a bit more powerful CPU than OnePlus 7, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and lesser and slower processing cores, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU. The OnePlus 7 takes better videos and photos than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 7 also has a way larger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality photographs and videos, a camera with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution and a larger aperture.
The OnePlus 7 has much more storage capacity for apps and games than iPhone XS Max, because it has more internal memory. The OnePlus 7 has just a little bit longer battery life than iPhone XS Max, because it has a 16% greater battery size.
Although Apple iPhone XS Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 7. If you prefer to save some money, you can get OnePlus 7, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
