Comparison review
The OnePlus 9 Pro has a general score of 76.6, which is a bit better than OnePlus 7's 71.6 overall score. These devices have the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding operating system features. The OnePlus 9 Pro design is newer than OnePlus 7's, but it's just a little thicker and just a bit heavier.
The OnePlus 9 Pro has a processor that is very similar to OnePlus 7's CPU, and although the OnePlus 9 Pro has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The OnePlus 9 Pro features a bit better screen than OnePlus 7, because it has a little bigger screen, a better pixel density and a higher 1440 x 3216 resolution.
OnePlus 9 Pro has just a bit better camera than OnePlus 7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing images and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the OnePlus 9 Pro also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution and a way larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures.
OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 7 feature incredibly similar memory to install applications and games, they have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 9 Pro features better battery performance than OnePlus 7, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Although OnePlus 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the OnePlus 9 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the OnePlus 7, giving up a couple features and specifications.
