These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version and OnePlus 7 has Android 11, giving a lot of extra features. Galaxy A8 Star's body is just a little bit thinner but just a bit heavier than OnePlus 7, and both were only released with a couple of months difference.
