Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is better than the OnePlus 7's 71.6 global score. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version and OnePlus 7 has Android 11, giving a lot of extra features. Galaxy A8 Star's body is just a little bit thinner but just a bit heavier than OnePlus 7, and both were only released with a couple of months difference.
The OnePlus 7 features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A8 Star. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. The OnePlus 7 features just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a just a little higher display pixels density, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little bigger screen.
The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a greater memory to store more apps and games than OnePlus 7, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy A8 Star's battery lifetime is very similar to the OnePlus 7 one. OnePlus 7 captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same video definition and a F1.7 aperture, the OnePlus 7 also has a way larger back camera sensor, better 60 fps video frame rates and a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera.
