Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is much better than the OnePlus 7, getting a overall score of 86.5 against 71.6. Although Samsung Galaxy M31 is newer than OnePlus 7, it's just a little heavier and a little thicker. These phones include the same Android 11 OS, so they should provide the user identical operating system features.
The Galaxy M31 features a little sharper screen than OnePlus 7. Both have an equal 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a screen of the same size and the same screen density. The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 7, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB.
OnePlus 7 has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M31. Both of them have 8 processing cores and a 6 GB RAM. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a slightly better camera than OnePlus 7, because although it has worse video frame rate and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a larger sensor shooting better quality photographs and videos.
Galaxy M31 features a superior battery duration than OnePlus 7, because it has a 62% larger battery capacity.
