Comparison review
The Xperia XZ1 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 7, having a global score of 78.3 against 71.6. Xperia XZ1 is an older cellphone than the OnePlus 7, but it's a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. Xperia XZ1 counts with a screen that's just as good as the OnePlus 7 one, because although the Xperia XZ1 has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher screen density.
OnePlus 7 features a bit superior processor than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 7 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Xperia XZ1 has a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus 7, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
OnePlus 7 features a way better battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 7 captures better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same video resolution, the OnePlus 7 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor, higher 60 fps video frame rate, a back facing camera with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution and a larger camera aperture for better captures in poorly lited environments.
Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ1, otherwise you can save some money and get the OnePlus 7, giving up some specifications.
