Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren's general score of 80.1. The Sony Xperia 5 body is just a little bit thinner and notably lighter than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, even though they were released with only a few months difference.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a little better processing power than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has more RAM memory. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a little sharper screen than Xperia 5, because it has a just a little better display density, a quite larger display and a better 1440 x 3120 resolution.
The Xperia 5 counts with a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren takes greater photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a lot larger back camera sensor providing a way better image quality, a camera in the back with a lot better resolution and better 60 frames per second video frame rate.

Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
