Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is much better than the OnePlus 7T's overall score of 72.2. Both devices we are comparing come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 7T has Android 11 version. Galaxy A8 Star is an older and just a little bit heavier cellphone than OnePlus 7T, but Samsung was able to make it just a bit thinner anyway.
The OnePlus 7T features a little sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a bit greater pixels density, a bit bigger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a better memory for games and applications than OnePlus 7T, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows up to 400 GB.
The OnePlus 7T has a bit better processor than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7T also has a higher amount of RAM memory. OnePlus 7T features a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 3% bigger battery capacity. The OnePlus 7T has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7T also has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera, higher video frame rate, a much bigger back camera sensor taking lot higher quality pictures and videos and a larger camera aperture for better low-light photos and videos.
