Comparison review
The Xperia 5 is better than the OnePlus 7T, with a overall score of 81 against 72.2. The Xperia 5 is a lighter phone than OnePlus 7T, but they are 0.32inches thick. The OnePlus 7T features a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 7T also has 2 GB more RAM.
Xperia 5 counts with a slightly better screen than OnePlus 7T, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display and a slightly better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution. The OnePlus 7T captures a lot better photographs and videos than Xperia 5, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 7T also has faster 60 fps video frame rate, a way more mega-pixels back camera and a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 7T, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. OnePlus 7T counts with longer battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 7T, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 7T. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the OnePlus 7T, letting go a couple features and specs.
