Comparison review
The Xperia XZ1 has a global score of 78.3, which is slightly better than OnePlus 7T's general score of 72.2. Even though Xperia XZ1 is incredibly older than OnePlus 7T, it's construction is lighter and a little thinner. Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a screen that is very similar to OnePlus 7T's screen, because although the Sony Xperia XZ1 has a way smaller display and a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Xperia XZ1 counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than OnePlus 7T, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. OnePlus 7T features a bit better CPU than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7T also has a larger amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 7T features a much better camera than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same video definition, the OnePlus 7T also has a larger camera sensor capturing better quality photographs and videos, a much more megapixels camera in the back, a bigger camera aperture and higher video frame rate.
OnePlus 7T features a very superior battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 7T, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 7T. If you want to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 7T, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
