Comparison review
OnePlus 9 Pro has a general score of 76.6, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW's 75.9 score. Although OnePlus 9 Pro is newer than the OnePlus 8 UW, it's a bit heavier and a little thicker. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS, but OnePlus 9 Pro has newer 11 version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10 version, so it gives a lot of extra features and performance enhancements.
OnePlus 9 Pro's CPU is just as good as the processing unit in OnePlus 8 UW, both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 CPU cores. The OnePlus 8 UW features a slightly better looking screen than OnePlus 9 Pro, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2400, a bit smaller display and a bit lower number of pixels per inch in the screen.
The OnePlus 9 Pro's storage capacity for applications and games is very similar to OnePlus 8 UW's one, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity. OnePlus 9 Pro captures just a bit better pictures and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have a camera with a 48 mega-pixels and a same size camera aperture, the OnePlus 9 Pro also has a much higher video quality and a lot larger back camera sensor.
OnePlus 9 Pro counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although OnePlus 9 Pro is a better device, it is a little more expensive than the OnePlus 8 UW, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 8 UW. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the OnePlus 8 UW, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
