Galaxy Note9 is much better than the OnePlus 8 UW, getting a overall score of 87.1 against 75.9. The Galaxy Note9 is an older, somewhat thicker and heavier phone than the OnePlus 8 UW. The Samsung Galaxy Note9's CPU is very similar to OnePlus 8 UW's processor, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note9 has less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.

The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a quite larger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB.

The OnePlus 8 UW captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot better quality videos and photographs and a back camera with a much better resolution.

OnePlus 8 UW counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has a 4300mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.

The Galaxy Note9 not only is the best phones in our comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper.
