Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 has an overall score of 79.1, which is a bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW's 75.9 overall score. Although it's the best in this comparison, we must tell that it's also extremely older, a bit heavier and thicker. The OnePlus 8 UW has a bit better performance than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 UW also has more RAM.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a little sharper display than Xperia XZ2, because although it has a just a little lower pixels density, it also counts with much more brightness, a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit bigger display. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a bigger memory to install games and applications than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 400 GB.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a superior camera than Sony Xperia XZ2, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger aperture for better low-light captures, a much more megapixels back camera and a larger camera sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures.
OnePlus 8 UW has better battery duration than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 35% larger battery size.
