Comparison review
The iPhone XR is slightly better than the OnePlus 8, having an 82 score against 76. The iPhone XR is an older, just a little thicker and a bit heavier phone than the OnePlus 8. IPhone XR counts with a bit faster processing unit than OnePlus 8, because although it has 5 GB less RAM and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
OnePlus 8 counts with a little sharper display than Apple iPhone XR, because it has a bit bigger screen, a just a bit better pixel count per inch in the screen, a lot brighter screen and a higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. OnePlus 8 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than iPhone XR, because it has more internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 8 features a superior battery performance than iPhone XR, because it has a 46% greater battery capacity. OnePlus 8 takes better photos and videos than iPhone XR, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a way bigger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
Although iPhone XR is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPhone XR, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 8, giving up a couple features and specs.
