Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone has a score of 77.1, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 8's overall score of 76. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, it must be told that it's also an older, a little bit heavier and just a little thicker cellphone. Asus ROG Phone counts with a bit faster processing unit than OnePlus 8. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
OnePlus 8 features a bit sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, way more brightness, a quite higher screen density and a bit larger screen. OnePlus 8 captures way better photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has a way bigger back camera sensor shooting much higher quality photos and videos.
The Asus ROG Phone counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 8, because it has 384 GB more internal memory. OnePlus 8 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Asus ROG Phone, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 8. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy OnePlus 8, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
