Comparison review

Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a score of 77.8, which is slightly better than OnePlus 8's 76 overall score. Although it's the best device in this review, we must highlight that it is also older, a little bit heavier and thicker. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with a CPU that is just as good as OnePlus 8's CPU, and although the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

OnePlus 8 counts with just a bit better looking display than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), because it has a little bigger display, a quite better display pixel density and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The OnePlus 8 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). Both of them have the same resolution back facing camera, the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the same video resolution, a F1.8 aperture and a same size camera sensor.

The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has improved battery lifetime than OnePlus 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), but if you don't you can save some money and get the OnePlus 8, letting go some features and specifications.
