The Google Pixel 4a has a general score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than the OnePlus 8's global score of 76. Google Pixel 4a's construction is way lighter but a bit thicker than the OnePlus 8, and both of them were only released 4 months apart. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a just a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a quite larger display and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
Google Pixel 4a's storage to install games and applications is just as good as OnePlus 8's one, they have equal 128 GB internal memory. OnePlus 8 has a bit faster processing unit than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. OnePlus 8 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 3140mAh.
OnePlus 8 shoots greater photos and videos than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing images and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate, a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a much larger sensor which offers a way better photo and video quality.
Google Pixel 4a is a little more expensive than OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
