Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a 5G has a score of 87.5, which is better than OnePlus 8's 76 score. Although Google Pixel 4a 5G and OnePlus 8 were only released 7 months apart, Google Pixel 4a 5G's construction is just a bit thicker but also a bit lighter. OnePlus 8 has a bit better looking display than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a little bit worse pixels amount in each inch in the display, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G and OnePlus 8 both have incredibly similar storage capacity for games and applications, both have the same internal storage. The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 also has a larger amount of RAM.
OnePlus 8 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. The OnePlus 8 counts with a better camera than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a lot larger sensor.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G is way more expensive than OnePlus 8, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
