The Google Pixel 5 is better than OnePlus 8, having an 89 score against 76. Google Pixel 5's design has the same thickness than the OnePlus 8, but it is somewhat lighter. The OnePlus 8 features a bit more powerful processor than Google Pixel 5. Both have 8 cores and the same RAM memory amount. OnePlus 8 features just a bit better display than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels amount in each inch of display, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2400px resolution.
The Google Pixel 5 counts with as much memory capacity for games and applications as the OnePlus 8, both have the same 128 GB internal memory. The OnePlus 8 has a bit longer battery life than Google Pixel 5, because it has a 5 percent more battery capacity. The OnePlus 8 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a much bigger camera sensor shooting much better quality photos and a lot more MP camera.
Google Pixel 5 costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
