Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is a little bit better than OnePlus 8, having a 77.7 score against 76. HTC One M9's construction is somewhat lighter than the OnePlus 8, although it is thicker and was released many years before. HTC One M9 features a bit superior processing unit than OnePlus 8, because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an extra graphics processor.
The HTC One M9 features a bit more vivid screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has a little lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel quantity in each display inch. The OnePlus 8 features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 8 features a superior camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has a lot more mega pixels back facing camera, faster 60 fps video frame rate, a bigger back camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in low light environments.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a superior battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the HTC One M9 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making this phone an obvious call.
