Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 has a general score of 79.5, which is slightly better than OnePlus 8's 76 score. Even being the best device we compare here, it must be told that it's also older, a bit heavier and just a bit thicker. OnePlus 8 features just a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 features a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a same size display, the OnePlus 8 also has a just a bit more pixels per inch of display, a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and more display brightness. OnePlus 8 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has faster 60 fps video frame rates, a larger sensor and a camera in the back with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution.
Huawei Mate 20's memory to store more apps and games is just as good as OnePlus 8's one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. OnePlus 8 has just a bit better battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has an 8% more battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 8. If you want to save some money, you can buy the OnePlus 8, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
