Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 8's overall score of 76. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro design is older, a little heavier and just a little bit thicker than OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8 has just a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The OnePlus 8 counts with just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a bit worse display density and a way lower 1080 x 2400px resolution, it also counts with a quite bigger screen. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with as much storage capacity to install games and applications as OnePlus 8, both have exactly the same internal memory.
OnePlus 8 takes clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a better 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and higher video frame rates.
The OnePlus 8 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 4200mAh.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro costs a lot more money than OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
