Huawei Mate 8 has a score of 77.4, which is a bit better than the OnePlus 8's 76 score. The Huawei Mate 8 construction has the same thickness than the OnePlus 8, but it's a bit heavier. The OnePlus 8 features a much better display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little larger display, a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a little greater count of pixels per inch in the display.
The OnePlus 8 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 8 also has a larger amount of RAM. The OnePlus 8 features a much better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a camera with much more megapixels, a bigger aperture for better photography and video in low-light environments and a lot higher video resolution.
Huawei Mate 8 features much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. OnePlus 8 features a bit better battery performance than Huawei Mate 8, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as OnePlus 8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy OnePlus 8, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
