Huawei P30 is a little bit better than the OnePlus 8, having a global score of 81.7 against 76. Huawei P30's construction is a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 8, although it was released a little bit more than a year before. The OnePlus 8 counts with a slightly better display than Huawei P30, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels amount in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a little larger display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
Huawei P30's memory for games and applications is very similar to the OnePlus 8 one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit faster processor than Huawei P30, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has longer battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has a 4300mAh battery size. OnePlus 8 has a bit better camera than Huawei P30, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing less light and washed colors, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a back facing camera with a higher resolution and better 60 fps video frame rates.
Huawei P30 is way more expensive than OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
