Comparison review
LG G5 has a general score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 global score. The LG G5 is an much older phone than OnePlus 8, but it's lighter and a bit thinner anyway. OnePlus 8 has a little bit better looking screen than LG G5, because although it has a lot worse screen density and a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a larger screen.
The OnePlus 8 features a little faster CPU than LG G5, because it has 4 more processing cores and 4 GB more RAM memory. LG G5 features a much better storage for applications and games than OnePlus 8, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
OnePlus 8 counts with a superior battery performance than LG G5, because it has a 54 percent greater battery size. The OnePlus 8 features a superior camera than LG G5, and although they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also has a camera in the back with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution, a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and higher video frame rate.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy LG G5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the OnePlus 8, resigning some specifications.
