Comparison review

The LG G8 ThinQ is much better than OnePlus 8, with an 84.3 score against 76. The LG G8 ThinQ body is a little lighter than OnePlus 8, but it is just a little bit thicker and was released only 13 months before. The LG G8 ThinQ has a little sharper screen than OnePlus 8, because although it has much lower brightness and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a higher screen density.

The LG G8 ThinQ's processor is very similar to the processor in OnePlus 8, and although the LG G8 ThinQ has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. LG G8 ThinQ has much more storage to install applications and games than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The OnePlus 8 counts with better battery duration than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh. OnePlus 8 features a superior camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a camera with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution.

Even being the best phone in our comparison, the LG G8 ThinQ is also a lot cheaper, making it a great choice.
