Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 general score. The LG V30S ThinQ body is lighter and just a bit thinner than OnePlus 8, even though it was released 2 years before. OnePlus 8 has a bit better performance than LG V30S ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

OnePlus 8 features a bit better display than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a just a bit inferior number of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bit bigger display. The OnePlus 8 has a very superior camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a way more mega-pixels back facing camera, better 60 frames per second video frame rate and a way larger camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 8, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 has greater battery life than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 4300mAh battery size.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the OnePlus 8, resigning a couple features and specs.
